An Expedited Insurance Settlement is our definition of a mediation process that was enacted in Louisiana in 2023 through Senate Bill 212, that allows certain insurance policy holders to utilize a process allowing for mediations with certain time constraints that insurers must follow.
One of the purposes of the law is to provide effective, fair, and timely handling of residential property insurance claims for residential properties that are damaged by a hurricane.
